Session: Beyond a Brochure: Training International Students on Sexual Assault Awareness
Our session addressed sexual assault and consent as well as helped the attendees prepare to train their international students on the topic. Topics included: how to advise on consent, staying safe, bystander intervention, and how to support your students after an incident. This session was selected as the Region X conference highlight.
Learning Objectives:- Define sexual assault, consent, bystander, and gain a clearer understanding of Title IX as it relates to international students.
- Implement effective programming on campus specifically designed to educate international students on the topic of sexual assault awareness.

Workshop: Management and Mitigation of Mental Health Issues of Chinese Students
Our workshop featured a diverse and experienced panel who discussed mental health issues facing Chinese international students. Topics included: challenges faced by Chinese students, obstacles that prevent Chinese international students from seeking treatment (culture, family, etc.), and on-campus programming to help overcome these barriers.
Session: Overcoming Stigma: Mental Health Awareness for International Students and Scholars
Our session featured a diverse and experienced panel who discussed mental health issues facing international students around the world. Topics included: common mental health concerns, obstacles that prevent international students from seeking treatment, and how to overcome these barriers through effective resource use and on-campus programming.
