When seeking in-person medical treatment, we suggest using your plan's PPO network to find doctors in your area. Inside the United States, your plan uses the Aetna Passport Network. For prescription medications, your plan uses the EHIM Prescription Rx Network. You can use the search tools below to find doctors, hospitals, and pharmacies in your area that accept your plan.

  • Urgent Care Centers and Walk-In Clinics are convenient and less expensive.
  • Only use the Emergency Room (ER) for life-threatening emergency situations, as you will pay an additional ER deductible in most cases.

Telemedicine

Your insurance plan includes Teladoc when you are in the United States — allowing you to meet with a doctor via phone, web, or mobile app. There is no charge to use the service, and your insurance deductible is waived when using Teladoc. This should be your first choice when seeking treatment for non-emergency conditions.

Within the U.S., WellAway’s preferred lab is Quest Diagnostics. In order to maximize your benefits with as little out-of-pocket as possible, please be sure to use a Quest Lab. Visit the Quest Diagnostics website to find a lab near you.

Pre-Authorization

We always suggest contacting WellAway prior to seeking treatment, as they will be able to assist you with finding providers in your area and verifying your benefits. There are a number of services that require pre-certification, such as surgery, emergency evacuation, emergency reunion, and any hospital admissions. Please see your certificate for full details and make sure to call the number on your insurance ID card within 48 hours or as soon as possible.
