When searching the Cigna Global Directory, you can find healthcare providers in your area that are set up with direct billing to Cigna. By choosing a doctor or hospital who accepts direct billing, you will just need to show your ID card at the time of treatment and the provider will bill Cigna directly, so you won’t have to pay out of pocket for your visit.

Cigna Global Directory

To access the Cigna Global Directory, you’ll need to register for your online Cigna Envoy account by following the steps below:

• Select "I am an International Traveller" from the "I am a Customer" box
• Enter the username and password provided to you by your school.
• Then, click on Find Provider & Country Guides, and you'll be able to search for providers in your area.

If you visit a provider who is not set up for direct billing, you can:

• Ask if the provider will accept a Guarantee of Payment from Cigna. They can contact Cigna directly using the number on the back of your ID card to set up the Guarantee of Payment.
• Pay for your services at the time of treatment and file a claim to be reimbursed.
