The BlueCross BlueShield Network is one of the most extensive provider networks throughout the US and globally. If you go to a doctor, clinic, hospital, or pharmacy that is in the network, you will have less out-of-pocket expenses, and your doctor will be able to bill BCBS Global Solutions directly, meaning no upfront payments. We always recommend that you use an in-network provider whenever possible, however, you still have the option to seek treatment with the provider of your choice.

Tips on Finding In-Network Providers
Your insurance plan includes Global TeleMD when you are in the United States — allowing you to meet with a doctor via phone, web, or mobile app. There is no charge to use the service, and your insurance deductible is waived when using Global TeleMD. This should be your first choice when seeking treatment for non-emergency conditions.

We always suggest contacting BCBS Global Solutions prior to seeking treatment, as they will be able to assist you with finding providers in your area and verifying your benefits. There are a number of services that require pre-certification, such as surgery, emergency evacuation, emergency reunion, and any hospital admissions. Please see your certificate for full details and make sure to call the number on your insurance ID card within 48 hours or as soon as possible.Group Zone
