September marks a transition back to the classroom, but also marks the start of InternationalStudent.com’s Annual Travel Video Contest. Our 16th annual video contest gives students a chance to win $4,000 by letting their creative juices flow and asks students to show us how “community” has impacted or influenced their international education pursuits. In addition to our favorite contest, we explore the new COVID-19 booster shots, Hispanic Heritage Month, and resources to help students manage their physical and emotional wellbeing. Join us next month, where we will have a special edition on our Customer Service team!
Enjoy the newsletter!
Sincerely,
Jennifer Frankel

Staff Pets - Tetras and Guppies!
|
Morrison Kwong
Marketing Manager
It all started when my daughter walked into an aquatics shop two years ago and wanted to have a goldfish like Peppa Pig. A few months later, she lost interest but I was hooked on upgrading the equipment and getting different kinds of fish.
Today, I’ve two fish tanks (60cm and 35cm) with almost 100 guppies and tetras - which I have already given to my neighbours. Having a clean fish tank and keeping my fish healthy is not as easy a job as I initially thought! But when you take a moment to stare at the fish and watch them swim carefree, it calms you down and makes your stress go away (at least for me).
